Summer 2022 Transit Service Improvements
Welcome aboard! We’re making some changes this summer so our service is faster and more reliable.
Changes beginning Sunday, May 15
-
Belmont/NW 23rd
Route Change
Starting Sunday, May 15, Line 15-Belmont/NW 23rd buses will no longer serve SW Salmon in Downtown Portland. Instead, Line 15 buses will run on SW Alder between SW 18th and SW 2nd. This will reduce travel time and make the route easier for riders to navigate. Line 51 will remain on SW Salmon and SW 2nd. Line 63 will serve select stops on SW Salmon.
Buses will also use a dedicated eastbound bus lane on SW Alder Street between SW 4th and 2nd avenues to improve reliability for riders as part of the Alder Street Rose Lane Project.

Washington Park/SW 6th
Route Change
We’re partnering with Explore Washington Park to improve transit service to and around Washington Park. Starting Sunday, May 15, Line 63-Washington Park/SW 6th will run between the International Rose Test Garden/Japanese Garden and Pioneer Courthouse Square in Downtown Portland via a loop along SW Salmon, SW 6th, SW Washington, SW 10th, and SW Morrison. Explore Washington Park now operates year-round, free daily bus service within the park. We’ll continue to operate two weekday morning trips from the Oregon Zoo through the Arlington Heights neighborhood to Downtown Portland for students.
